The Creapharm group is privately owned by the family of the Chaiman and CEO Michel Pautrat, who founded a pharmaceutical Contract Manufacturing group in 1998 which included plants for the production of commercial drugs and clinical supplies. At the end of 2005 the commercial plants were merged with another CMO to focus Creapharm on clincal supplies only.
The Creapharm group includes:
- Creapharm Europe SAS, the parent
- Creapharm SAS, the European operational subsidiariy
- Creapharm Inc, the US business development subsidiary
The group is growing at an average 7% annual rate since 2007.The 2011 turnover was 8.7 million euros.
The financial situation is sound with no financial debt and a relatively high cash position.
Significant expansion investments have been completed in 2008 and 2009 on the Bordeaux site for all activities: capsules production and overencapsulation, clinical packaging and storage for worldwide distribution capabilities. Further investments to sophisticate capsules filling, blister packaging , labelling, cold storage and clients web access have been completed in 2010-11
Mergers and acquisitions opportunities in Europe and the US are evaluated to enlarge and further strengthen the services offer of the group in its field:
